. For the Level 2 final exam, only seven wines are required. These are drawn from the benchmark selections used throughout the program:
- Sauvignon Blanc – Same profile as Week One (look for grassy, herbal notes)
- California Chardonnay – Same as Week One (buttery, oaked, full-bodied)
- Red Burgundy (Pinot Noir) – Same as Week Four (Old World, earthy)
- Chianti Classico (Sangiovese) – Same as Week Three (cedar, tobacco, leather)
- Grenache – Same as Week Three (Old World style with herbal or floral notes)
- Northern Rhône Syrah – Same as Week Four (game, smoke, or meat notes)
- Haut-Médoc (Bordeaux) – Same as Week Four (graphite, pencil shavings, cedar)
