This course is your first step toward earning a nationally recognized wine credential. Designed to complement your college or university class, the Level One Certification builds core wine knowledge while developing real-world tasting and evaluation skills.
You’ll explore essential grape varieties, global wine styles, wine label basics, and the fundamentals of wine service and food pairing. Your coursework includes assigned reading materials, interactive quizzes, and a final certification exam—all integrated into your academic course and supported by your professor’s lectures.
This program is offered in partnership with your school and the National Wine School. Upon successful completion of the final exam, you’ll receive the Level One Wine Certification, a credential respected across the wine, hospitality, and culinary industries.
