Welcome to the L2 Wine Course! You are about to embark on a fascinating journey into the world of wine, following in the footsteps of thousands of students who have already experienced the masterful pedagogy of your instructor, Keith Wallace.
Keith is a former winemaker, published author, and the founder of the award-winning Wine School of Philadelphia. Today he is a member of our Board of Directors, and he has made our Level 2 Wine Course one of the best online wine education programs on the planet!
The program is divided into Weekly Lessons for your convenience. However, you may take the lessons at your own pace, provided you finish within 180 days of starting the program. Extensions are available.
You will need the L2 Scent Kit for Week Five of the course. If you have not already purchased the kit, please do so now: https://wineschool.us/school/l2-sensory-wine-kit/
You will find all of the wines and materials for the course under “Wine & Supply Recommendations“. For many of the wines, we provide several options. If you are unable to purchase one of the recommended wines, please contact us and request pre-approval for any substitutions. Selecting the correct wine is of critical importance. You are unlikely to pass the final exam if you have not trained with the correct wines!
Regarding the weekly quizzes: These are designed to help prepare you for the final exam. Accordingly, you are able to view which questions you answered incorrectly, along with the right answer once you click “Finish Test.” You are also able to take the quizzes multiple times. This is not the case for the Final Exam. For the Final Exam, you have one attempt only and will not receive an answer key after submitting the test. Please make sure not to click on the Final Exam until you are ready to have your final score recorded.
Finally, please remember that you have registered for a course, and certification is not guaranteed. You must read all the provided material carefully, and follow instructions diligently, to pass this course. It will be challending, but we believe in you.
