Congrats! You are about to undertake the ultimate deep dive into French wine, and we can’t wait for you to get started! Below, you’ll find key details regarding prerequisites, wine recommendations, and certification requirements.
Prerequisites and Certification
To earn certification in the Master of French Wine™ program, you must have successfully completed L1, L2, and L3. This program is one of four advanced courses that, upon successful completion, lead to the prestigious Advanced Sommelier Pin.
Wines & Recommendations
Participants are responsible for sourcing their own wines. However, we provide a curated list of recommended bottles for each class to ensure you fully experience the distinct characteristics of each region. Our expert educators will guide you through these selections.
Final Exam & Study Materials
Your final grade will be based on a 100-question exam, featuring matching, multiple-choice, true/false, and sorting questions. Lesson quizzes mirror the final exam format but are not graded—you may take them as many times as needed to reinforce your knowledge.
All exam questions are derived from NWS proprietary materials, including reading assignments, live class videos, and studio discussions, which complement in-person lectures.
If you have any questions or need further details, feel free to reach out. We look forward to seeing you in class!
Cheers,
