The National Wine School (NWS) is a professionally recognized institution delivering certification programs in wine education to students, universities, and industry professionals across the United States. All programs are structured around nationally recognized standards for accessibility, instructional quality, data privacy, and credential integrity.

Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 Level AA)

All NWS online certification programs meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Formal Accessibility Conformance Reports (VPAT® 2.5Rev) are available for each course level, ensuring compatibility with screen readers, keyboard navigation, and assistive technologies.

SCORM Compliance

All courses are SCORM-compliant (SCORM 1.2 and 2004), ensuring full compatibility with university LMS platforms such as Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, and D2L Brightspace. This allows seamless tracking of learner progress, assessments, and certification outcomes.

ANSI/ASTM Certificate Program Standards

NWS designs its certification programs in alignment with the ANSI/ASTM E2659-18 standard for certificate programs. Each course features defined learning outcomes, structured assessments, and transparent credentialing criteria to support transferability and institutional adoption.

FERPA-Aligned Data Privacy

The School protects student information in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). No personal data is shared without consent, and all student records are securely stored for instructional and credentialing purposes only.

State Recognition

Privacy & Data Security
