# Why does my password reset link say “Invalid key”

This usually happens when multiple password reset requests are made.

For security, only the **most recent** password reset email works. If you click an older reset email after requesting a new one, the system will show an “Invalid key” message.

**How do I avoid this problem?**

- Request a password reset **once**
- Open **only the newest email** you receive
- Ignore or delete older reset emails

**What if I already clicked the wrong link?**

- Simply request another password reset
- Use the newest email that arrives
- If the problem continues, contact support and we can reset it for you manually
