# Starting at Level Two in the National Wine School’s Certification Program

At the National Wine School, all students seeking **online certification** are required to begin with **Level One**, regardless of prior experience. This ensures a consistent foundation and prepares students for the structure and expectations of the program.

Even if you have substantial wine knowledge or professional experience—such as working in a tasting room—you will still need to complete Level One before advancing to Level Two in the online track. If you're pursuing **in-person certification**, different entry points may be available depending on the school’s discretion.

However, if you have earn your Level One via the Wine & Spirit Education Trust or the Court of Master Sommeliers, you can transfer those credentials here: [https://wineschool.us/school/credential-verification/](https://wineschool.us/school/credential-verification/)
